GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello, everybody!  It was great to see so many of you at our Season Kick-Off potluck in September!    I look forward to spending more time with all of you are our upcoming potlucks and events.

As we get closer to the cooler weather here in the desert, things are heating up with our Club.  Upcoming events for October include my last Happy Hour/Trivia event, since the Goddess of all things Trivia, Diane Chapman, returns to our hallowed grounds just in time for the November HH/T.   We are also getting ready for our annual Bocce Ball Bash, as well as gathering for our free Lifestyle’s concert and our Halloween potluck, with special guests from the Performing Arts Club to tell us about their club and upcoming events they have planned.  For those of you who choose to wear a costume, the PAC has agreed to act as independent judges for those costumes.  If you don’t want to wear a costume, come anyway and be amazed by the ingenuity of our fellow members.   Some of us are quite inventive!  I know I was amazed last year and can’t wait to see what awaits us this year!

Be sure to check our website often, as we are still adding events and things of interest to our club members, to show them the fun things to do inside our SCSH community, and beyond the gates to the Coachella Valley.
