Welcome all to the approaching winter. As we break out the long sleeves and light jackets, it feels like our club is cruising along nicely. The breakfasts and happy hours continue to provide smiles and fun, the potlucks have been well attended with lots of good food and good energy, and our new and not so new members are gradually bonding with this impressive eye catching website.

A big thank you “shout out” to the captains of this lovely cruise. Oxana Biasi’s webmaster skills have been tremendous. Vice President and Programmer Extraordinaire Richard Rawson has put together an amazing event schedule accompanied by clear sign up instructions. Secretary/Membership guru Sue Drangstveit has continued to reach out to answer questions asked by new and old members. Treasurer Diane Chapman has been closely monitoring our bank account while also hosting our very popular monthly Happy Hour/Trivia events. Public Relations chief and former president Michelle Lackner has created dazzling flyers and has provided valuable input at our monthly board meetings. Lastly, the always smiling Natasha Frank and her husband Mark and Jose and Gloria Rodriguez and Susan Pollack have made our themed potlucks extra festive with their creative decorative touches. I feel very fortunate and grateful to work with such talented, smart, and fun people.

One last shout out needs to go to our club’s founder and original president Deb Harper whose vision has helped this club become what it is today. Deb and her husband Ken are tending to family business in Ohio this winter. I am sure she is checking us out on this website. Hi Deb!
