Let’s Meet & Eat – A Season to Remember

Good food, great people, and plenty of laughs. Moments like these are what Let’s Meet & Eat is all about.

This past season, our Newcomers group really enjoyed being part of the Let’s Meet & Eat evenings. While it’s a separate club, having our two Newcomers tables each month gave us a great way to be part of something bigger while still sitting together and getting to know each other.

Let’s Meet & Eat is held once a month in the Montecito Ballroom and feels more like a lively dinner party than a formal event. Everyone brings a dish to share, and somehow every table ends up with an amazing mix of food and plenty to go around. Add your favorite drink, and you’re all set for the evening.

Our Newcomers member Jeff is performing live at one of the Let’s Meet & Eat events, adding to the energy of the evening.

What really makes these nights stand out is the atmosphere. There’s always great live music, and whether you feel like dancing, singing along, or just sitting back and enjoying it, there’s something for everyone. Of course, many of us didn’t stay in our seats for long once the music started. The dance floor definitely saw plenty of Newcomers out there.

More than anything, these evenings gave us a chance to meet more people, share a table, and turn familiar faces into real friendships. It’s been one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways for Newcomers to feel connected within the community.

A big thank you to Bonnie for organizing our tables and being our connection with the Let’s Meet & Eat club. She made it all simple for us, and we truly appreciate everything she did throughout the season.
